Member States and implementers shall take measures to open the possibility for authorised people to act on behalf of the patient (including legal guardians e.g. individual/patient is a minor child and the parents are acting on his/her behalf; individual/patient is an incapacitated or disabled adult and another person is authorised/entitled to act on their behalf, individual/patient has authorised someone to act on their behalf for convenience reasons and the use of so-called digital pilots (e.g. to assist individuals/patients with less developed digital skills).
